Before and after
« on: July 06, 2014 - 04:18:12 PM »
Thought I would post pictures of before the restoration on my six pack and then after. Car runs extremely well now although I plan to get it dyno tuned in the next few weeks. Smooth transition from idle to WOT! I opted to ceramic coat the intake silver instead of orange. I found a great carb guy who completed the work, just east of Calgary by the name of Ryan Brown. Although expensive, I think it was well worth it. We didn't go with Pro-max base plates but did go for the metering plates for the end carbs and stuck with the original metering block for the center carb. The manifold (aluminum) and carbs are on my 71 cuda but are a numbers matching set from a 69 A12 manual car (thanks to Cody for verifying the numbers!). I am in the process of building a 540 wedge and will run this intake on the engine once completed. Don't plan to install the engine until I receive the new 855 tranny from Passon. The motor and tranny in the car now will go into a 70 Roadrunner (once I buy one!)

Hey Bruce - I just checked my emails and Jamie contacted me on the 5th of May saying he had shipped 20 so far. I think I ordered mine last November or December.
