reverse light switch
« on: July 10, 2014 - 01:03:12 AM »
I am trying to wire in my reverse light switch into my Keisler A41 4l60e transmission.  I don't know where the factory wires are, or anything about where they go through the floor or dash to get to the trans.  I removed my 727 a couple of years ago and it is long gone, so i don't have a reference.  Is there a harness that I can buy, and if so, where does it connect to the main harness?  Somewhere in the dash, or in the rear harness?  Any help is appreciated.

OK.  Pretend I have a 727, and I want to connect the reverse light switch.  Is there a harness to connect it too?  Does anybody have reverse lights?  I don't want my application to scare anybody away from knowing where the switch connects to.  Thanks guys.   J

It connects through the bulkhead connector. It is one of the small four wire bulkhead connectors. I believe you can buy that harness if you don't want to make your own. Fairly cheap i think.

The two black wires from the neutral safety switch in the 727 connect to the reverse light switch then to the bulk head.  The brown/yellow wire from the neutral safety switch connects to the starter relay.
