freeze plugs?

I'm putting the 78 400 into the car while I stroke my 72 400.
I'm curious as to whether or not I should remove/replace the freeze plugs.
It's out and would be easier now. Is this something I should just do before putting the motor back in?
I can't find any brass freeze plugs. Only chinese steel plugs.

Always a good idea while it's out. You can probably get brass from Summit.

no harm swapping them out , flush out the cooling jackets while they are out , any visable seal leaks especially rear main should be addressed

What do you think about the pics of the rear main seal?
