70-71 cuda quarter patch panel needed ASAP!!!
« on: July 11, 2014 - 03:23:36 PM »
Hey guys, my buddy (not so active member on here) is trying to get his 70 cuda in & painted before his baby girl is born in roughly 6 weeks, and he is in desperate need of a driver rear quarter for 70-71 cuda, amd says they aren't making them currently, and I checked roseville's site and they aren't showing any either.   He just need at he patch, all the ones I'm finding on eBay etc are either 70-71 pass side, or "70-74" driver side, but the side marker holes are for 72-74 lol Please help!  He's willing to pay more than list price to get one asap!!!  Call or email me!
Thanks guys, you rock

P.S.

Have you looked at that '70 Cuda in your "backyard" yet? Inquiring busy-bodies like me want to know what it's really like ...

Hey tom, he is just looking for the lower patch panels, trying to save some $$ over the full quarters.  As for the cuda out here, haven't been to see it, my youngest got chicken pox so I have been a home body lol

Try Classic Industries part # MM1219A.  It is a 70-71 full quarter skin but for the price ($209) you can just cut off what you need and throw the rest away.  I have a pair of the AMD lower quarters patches in my garage waiting to get installed on my 70 Cuda.  I bought them about 9 months ago and had a heck of a time finding them due to AMD stopped making them. I paid $300 for both sides and keep thinking what a rip off, but it was that or the whole AMD quarter skin which would cost $250 more at the time and I only need the lower quarter part.

Thanks loco, went ahead with a full AMD quarter cut what he needed, classic industries and jegs both carry that $200 quarter but it's a Sherman part
