Looking for SB radiator and carb
« on: July 19, 2014 - 06:38:09 PM »
Hi everybody,
I have a 1970 cuda 340 4 speed.  I am looking for a 26" radiator.  After reading and reading a lot of the posts, I am still up in the air on where to buy one from.  The radiator that came with the car says it's from a 1970 charger.  The engine, trans, rear end, and other numbers match, so I am looking for as close to original as possible.  Any suggestions?  Also, I am wondering what kind of carburetor to put in?  Any close repros of the carter?  Maybe Street Demon?  I don't know.  And one more thing,  I am wondering if I should get the TTi headers?  The car is not original, just trying to keep it somewhat close and I know the cars did not come with headers.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

A 70 318 Charger with auto or 4 spd could have the same radiator as a 70 340 Challenger/Cuda 4 spd... What's the part number in the top tank?
 Either a 2998949 or a 2998974 would be correct....

the number that I saw says 3673927 59538.  And I was wrong it says from a 73 charger in chalk.
Thanks for input on headers too.
