Where to start?

I just became the guardian of a 1970 Dodge challenger Western Sport Special. The interior is pretty much gutted and I'm trying to figure out where to start. Rest of the car is pretty much done. Seats are crap, everything is disassembled. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'll post pics soon.

Figure out what you have and what you need. Post up some pictures and guys will chime in and help out.

As far as parts go, contact Dave @ Roseville moparts he's a club sponsor and will have most everything you need. Dales cuda shop is also a good source for oddball parts. Upholstery you'll most likely get the suggestion to use Legendary auto interiors, they seem like the best quality fit and price, they are who I'll be using. That's a start, there's many others that know a heck of a lot more...

As stated, asses what you have and place them into categories, such as what can be used as is, what can be rebuilt/refurbished and what needs to be replaced and or purchased.

As with most projects, it helps if you gather everything you need before you dive in.  If that’s not feasible or finically obtainable, start with what you need the most so you can enjoy the car while gathering the rest of the parts.

Thanks for the advice. Trying to post some pics but the files must be too big. I'm going to start by putting the dash back together and getting the wiring back into working order. My first job I ran into a slight snag. You would think hooking up the wiper motor switch connectors would be pretty straight forward. NOT! The connectors dont seem to line up how you would think. Back to the parts manuals! I can see that I'm going to be asking a lot of questions especially because I didn't take the thing apart.

I would start with the pedals & interior insulation , the heater box & dash , window goes in last
