I have the new battery tray and bracket for 72 challenger. Is there suppose to be a bracket underneath the battery tray?
Will the upper bracket and rods and bolt support the battery on it's own.
Thanks.

There is a lower bracket that supports the tray.

It is an angled bracket that bolts to the bottom of the tray & inner fender near the frame rail

Okay thanks. It looked that way but needed to be sure. Got the new tray and bracket pieces from Year One but they didn't include that.
Guess it's an additional item.
