Horn gremlins?
« on: January 30, 2015 - 09:11:36 PM »
So I went to drive the challenger today and as soon as I put the key in the ignition the horn started blowing.  Took the key out, and it stopped and put it back and it started blowing again... Opened hood... Disconnected horns, and started car... Let it run a few minutes..  Turned car off hooked horns back up and then it was fine again...   I know the horn pad wasn't a sticking because when the key was out of ignition the horn would honk with horn button...

Any Ideas anyone?????

Test the circuit out. I had a wire come loose in my column and did the same thing. Had to ohm things out until I found it. Never hurts to check out your wires with a ohm meter to.
Its just a little 340 with a miss

Horn relay on mine was bad from the factory, after a few Jersey honks it went intermittent.
