17 or 18" Rev Classics
« on: July 30, 2014 - 08:58:05 AM »
I'm looking at this style of wheel for the Cuda. Rev and Ridler have good prices.
With the springs moved in I can handle a 10" wide 17 or 18" wheel.  The trick is finding them, especially with a 5.5" backspace to pull them in towards the springs.
Any suggestions? Referrals?

I went with Billet Specialties wheels from Wheels for Less. I also mover the springs in 3/4" and went with 18 x 10 in the rear and 17 x 8 in the front. I like the look of the staggered diameters. They were great to deal with and you can order any back spacing you want.

I checked those out. Those are offered for Mustangs so will they work for ebodies too? MD Classics have good prices too on them.

You should find a pic of my car with the wheels on page 38 of e body tire combos.

Wow. They look nice. I think 18/17s will work on mine too.

Thanks, the pic is old. I have since put Wilwood Disc brakes on all four corners. Looks much better now.
