I just installed the new grant tuff wheel this last weekend. It was a quick easy bolt on and I only had to make the horn cap hole bigger which was easy. If you decide to get this one you definitely don't need the adapter.

Sorry to  :horse: but I'm having trouble figuring out how to attach the Grant horn button to the Grant steering wheel (model 246 no rivets).
I have a crush can / grant steering wheel / mopar horn with out the tuff wheel cast adapter. The grant horn cap is too big and does not snap on to the mopar horn. I bought the adapter kit and the grant horn cap snaps onto the the horn ring from the kit but there isn't any movement to the horn.

I'd like to keep the crush can. I just want the horn cap to mount on the wheel and the horn to honk.

any pics anyone could take would be helpful. I'm going  :screwy:

I reused the Mopar horn. I had to machine it slightly to use the Grant cap.

I just ordered he Grant 246 steering wheel but haven't received it yet. I really want the center cap with the fish on it but I'm still trying to talk myself into it worth spending $200 on it. In the mean time I have a stock center cap from a '74 Barracuda that I'm using on the old Grant Tuff wheel knock off that I have on the car now. Is the center cap that comes with the Grant 246 different in size from the stock Mopar center cap? I'd rather not alter the size of the horn switch to fit the Grant center cap if I don't have to.

I had to end up using the Ididit horn kit for the tuff wheel. I didn't have the original horn to use with the Grant horn kit. So the grant kit was worthless. The Ididit kit was only $9.
