SALE PENDING

This was born an H-Code 340 convertible with TWO fender tags worth of options. Somewhere along the line the original 340 went away and in its place now resides a stronger, forged crank 1970 340 mill. During a late 80's restoration the color was changed from Butterscotch to FC7 Plum Crazy, an upgrade in my book. The rear luggage rack was replaced with the Go-Wing, a Tuff wheel was added along with hood pins, and the "Rally" scoops were put on the quarter panels - all in all the car looks, runs, and drives amazing. Options include, front-end chrome package, Cassette player/recorder (works), AC, Power top, power windows, power steering, power disc brakes, fast ratio steering (super rare), Sure grip rear, Rally Dash, AM-FM radio, etc. The car will last in this shape for years - the body and undercarriage have some issues, but it's been like this since the 90's, she's a solid car with real good bones. If you want to take it to the next level I'm sure it will be money well spent - call me for an honest description, thanks.

That's always been one car that I can't believe you haven't sold yet.

You should try Cars-on-line.com if you haven't already. :2cents:

Have a very nice Challenger T/A 4-spd that gets driven more than this car does, and I don't want to pay the monthly storage any longer.

PRICE REDUCED >> $37,500

Thanks
Dave

I'll put it up on Hemmings first, then COL, then eBay before it goes back into the cript....LOL

On ebay now http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dodge-Challenger-REAL-H-Code-340-CONVERTIBLE-WITH-AC-1971-Dodge-Challenger-340-Conv-Auto-AC-H-Code-/281418646682?forcerrptr=true&hash=item4185dbc49a&item=281418646682&pt=US_Cars_Trucks

As for the "chassis and body issues", Dave gives a refreshingly forthright detailed description and pics of the "issues" and I for one appreciate his candor on the subject.
Cheers!

I think why it hasn't sold is that it will need a complete rotisserie restoration w/a sand blast and/or chemical dip to remove the rust.  Doesn't look like engine and interior needs work, which saves a ton of money.

I think the magic number to sell it would be $30k.  Nice car, but will need another $20-25k easy to get the body "sorted" (as they Brits say).

wow,
nice car
I would think its worth every bit of your asking price.
Good luck with it.

Not that it matters, but mine is a 10 year old, non-rotiserrie restoration, and it has a some surface rust in some areas of the underbody, but I think its worth that much and its not even a vert.
