70 Seat covers?

Are the seats the same for 70-74 cuda? I'm looking @ buying a set of 1970 cuda front seat cover for my 74.
There is a set on ebay for really cheap.  Also do the 70 cuda seats require the plastic seat backs?

Pretty sure you will need to get new foam for under the covers as they are shaped different. I think 70-72 all used the plastic seatbacks.

The patterns are different for each year,  and yes as stated, the early ones used a hard back panel.

 Even if you changed the foams to 70 style it still wouldnt work, the seat frames are different. Your best bet is to find a pair of 70-71 seat frames and have them reupholstered. I have played the "piece together different year seats" game and it ISNT WORTH IT!!!.....I did a writeup on this horrific experience, read it and you'll understand why I say to buy 70-71 seat frames....

Ohhh BTW, I bought my skins off that same guy on eBay, they came perfect and I spent two-thirds the price of what legenedary wants for them.

Anyone know if '70 B body seat back frames are the same as '70 E body?
