You can install it 2 ways , in the front line , this will trip the warning light , push the brake hit the switch & it holds pressure in the front lines while the pedal is released .
or you can install it into the rear line if you have an automatic trans , this will not trip the warning light n the proportioning valve , hit the switch first & use the brake pedal to hold the car with the front brakes only
