Which is best launch control/line lock

For those who know, which is the best line lock/launch control system, I'm looking at fitting one on my 73 cuda (disc brake front)

I have used Hurst
 You can install it 2 ways , in the front line , this will trip the warning light , push the brake hit the switch & it holds pressure in the front lines while the pedal is released .
 or you can install it into the rear line if you have an automatic trans , this will not trip the warning light n the proportioning valve , hit the switch first & use the brake pedal to hold the car with the front brakes only

thanks CP, sound like a plan, I like the rear brake option a little better, a little more roll control for those long side of road to side of road  :burnout:

Do you remember it ever giving you grief where the warning light will not go out? Like, the prop valve off centre and it takes a while to re-align?

I use a Moroso to lock the front brakes. Raced with it for ten years, no problem. Only used it for the burnout and didn't need it to hold the car at the line because run an auto tranny.

Yeah , had problems on my Duster so I disconnected the wire to the prop valve .
 I had to use my line lock on the star line with the 4 spd , applied the line lock lightly as I rolled into pre stage & dragged the front tires into the stage lite , one time I was asleep at the wheel & popped the clutch & forgot to take my finger off the line lock button , came down with front wheels still locked up about 50' out , doh !!

so, I ended up buying a Hurst unit, I like CP's idea of the installation in the rear brake line, press the button first then apply brake pressure as needed to control the movement of the car, push down hard for no movement or up a little for slow roll etc.

question is, are there any negatives on installing it in the rear line???

Ok, now for my next issue, seems to be common, I need a 2 x 9/16-20 male / 3/16 female inverted adaptor and a 9/16-20 female/female inverted union.

Im installing the lin lock into the back brakes and simply want to drop the rear output line from the combination valve which has a 9/16-20 inverted fitting and the line lock lines are 3/16 as are the brake lines. I DONT WANT TO CUT AND MODIFY THE EXISTING SYSTEM PLEASE.

Can anyone help me get hold of these, happy to paypal for cost and freight to Australia, we have a very limited if any supply out here and I need them super urgently please.

Found a solution,,,, mounted it up the back of the, bolts right in as the lines there are 3/16 and the fitting kit comes with all that is needed, per the pick below, all I have to do is bend a U shaped connection from the blue bung to the flex line going to the diff. run a wire via the console to the switch then bring fused power from the dash and good to go
