Wow! That fell way short of it's estimated sale price. And that car is a beauty ... one owner, 17K miles, B7 blue, a real gem ... and it came up short?

So which one of you "investors" grabbed this beauty??

Judging by the pictures posted of it on EBay I would say the new owner over paid for this "gem"

So it looks like a person bought it to flip it as is.  Strange on current bid that it does not say, "Reserve not met."  Im sure the seller will just take it off ebay if they do not recoup their $$$,$$$$.00.

It looks like the exhaust us still in place.
It is very hard to believe a Chevy dealer would buy a Mopar through auction, over pay in the extreme, pay the auction fees, and still think there is room for profit.
He did post a lot of descriptive photos that any potential buyer should be able to use to formulate an impression of the car. The question of numbers matching engine and transmission continues and was one of the first things I wondered about when I saw the car. The auction description mentioned an engine repair in the past. Wonder what that entailed?
No mention or display of a sheet for the car. I would have been tearing that car apart looking for a sheet as soon as it rolled off the trailer. The original owner probably had no idea what a sheet was or where to look for one.

a question about that door sticker (because i'm not familiar enough to know better yet ....) - it looks like it was taped over and oversprayed? is this an indication of a re-spray, or was this how they came from the factory? I ask because mine looks exactly the same with @ 1/8" of paint around the sticker edging (although, mine is vertically mounted, this one is horizontally mounted .... also a question about originality - did they mount them both directions?) and I'm wondering if mine had been re-sprayed at one point.

Other members may know more than me but I have seen LA built cars ('E'), with the door VIN sticker mounted vertically like your's.

I saw this car sell and I am wondering why you guys are calling it a clone? They made no mention of it being a clone or tribute car.

This guy bought this Cuda for $185k plus fees and sold on ebay for $249k.  $60k payday is not to shabby.

I guess without the VIN we'll never know. Not too many people add Vintage A/C and 4 wheel discs to original cars...If they did, that's certainly what held the price back from other V codes. :2cents:

Amazing, I guess the guy is asking an additional $60K over what he purchased the car for all the time it took him to upload all of those pictures  :)

But I will give him credit for adding so many detailed pictures.
