Nice work Tommy!
My Challenger didn't come with outboard speakers, so I bought some grills off ebay. I intend on instaling some 4" 100 watt speakers there, and in the center, I bought one of those aluminum plates, andwill install another set of 4" speakers there.
Crutchfield has some really nice ones. Infinitys, I believe is what I am going with. Have to buy ones that don't have a center small speaker that protrudes up for grill clearance, yet can handle serious power.
I've got a couple of old school Rockford Fosgate amps, the 4600x. They are small, about 8" x 9" - but they pack an AWESOME punch! They absolutely rock. They will easily blow you away. They should fit under the seats, or maybe the dash - if I can find room. One will power the front 4 speakers, and one will power the 2 rear Polk audio Momo speakers.
I bought mounting brackets that are angled to mount the Polks from underneath the package tray, yet they will directed to the interior. One will never even see the speakers in my car. I will cover the package tray with black speaker carpet.
If I don't have enough bass, I will add an 8" or 10" seperate subwoofer.
I've got to pul the dash to do some other work, and will install my speakers then. I'm a fan of stealth stereo installs.
