Yes, just like that. Why does everyone say the hood won't fit? Are they not interchangeable between E Bodies?

Cuda's have a seperate "header panel" in front of the hood between the fenders. Challenger do not. :2cents:

It would probably be easier to build one out of a FLST chally hood.  I looked into this a dozen times, I begged US body source to make a SRT10 ram style hood for my chally haha no luck.  They do make a 07-10 srt8 charger hood for a-bodies and certain b-bodies that  looks bad a$$

It may not match up well with the Challenger grill structure. Certainly if you are motivated, it could be made to work, but you do have different body lines and features to contend with. You could mount the Cuda header between challenger fenders, cut the front off a Challenger hood and mount to the Cuda hood. Cut the front off a Challenger hood and turn it into a header panel. Or source an AAR style hood and cut the scoop off and graft to the Challenger hood.

Mine is actually a Cobra Jet scoop that has had the edges and opening extended with additional ABS pieces to smooth the transitions so it looks more like an AAR than a CJ. If you look closely at the picture below, you can see the seams where it started to de-laminate and pull apart after several years of sun and engine heat. You also can see the body lines unique to Challengers that carry from the fenders into the hood that the Cuda does not share.
