Quick stereo wiring question
«

I'm installing on old pioneer radio/deck in my 70 Cuda. I need a keyed power source (12 V ON/OFF) to hook up the red wire for an underdash mount stereo. I was hoping I could find power at the fuse box, but all the terminals are either constant hot or accessory powered. Any suggestions?
thanks

Not sure if they're the same or not, but on my '71, the PO mounted a Pioneer cd player in an under dash enclosure, and the two power wires (full time and key on) for it are ran to the fuse box.

Ok. I figured this one out. I didn't realize there was on "off" position for the ignition. I thought the lock position was off and the next turn was on.
thanks for the help.

There are red & yellow tri plugs under the dash , one is constant power , not switched , the other is switched power
