Yep your good! I have a 70 with a 73-74 box/pitman arm
Yes if you swap in the 73-up E/A body spindles you can use the cheaper rotors. In 73 they changed the inner bearing/spindle size from 1.250" to 1.375" . If you do this swap not only can you use the cheaper rotors but also rotors that are bigger in diameter with a simple caliper bracket swap.

This article says you can't use the similar B-Body spindle but this is not true, you can! Only difference is it's taller.
