Locate Mount/Brake
« on: October 23, 2014 - 02:16:54 PM »
I can't seem to find this sway bar mount/braket from any of the suppliers.  Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.  Any assistance is appreciated.

I dont believe you can buy it, there are aftermarket bolt on replacements but not like the factory unit you have, you can drill the two spot welds to break it apart, replace the bush and with care re weld the hoop back onto the base. I converted my factory unit to use the chassis bracket, welded a 1/4 plate to the front of it, drilled and tapped two 3/8 holes, screwed studs into them, welded them in place from the back then bolted the aftermarket hoop with Urethane bush onto the chassis bracket, works great. No additional holes in the chassis rail

I've got a pair without the rubber bushings. They need to be cleaned up and one of them needs some welding repair.

Unfortunately I'm not a welder guy.  Who might sell the aftermarket bolt ons?  Thanks.

If I can't find them then I will probably find a welder guy.

Thanks.

Thanks for the lead (Firm Feel).  I called them and it looks like they have what I'm looking for.  And not a bad price.
