I just put in the 833 OD trans after having it rebuilt...

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get your trans rebuilt and how much did it cost?

I can rebuild them but I doubt you want to deal with shipping this far & crossing the border twice as well

I had it rebuilt the in Redwood City, CA. for $500.00. Just make sure they are familar with the OD so they set it up right. Let me know if you want to send it into them.

This is a picture I took of the Cuda last week with my brother's 70, 440-4 speed-Dana car. He wishes he could cruise at 80 on the highway like the 71 does

Great pic vette!  Thanks for the info about the price.  I kind of figured that it would be best if a rebuild was left to a pro instead of the yahoos at AAMCO.  I have just started looking for a trans, so I'll let you know if I need help finding a place to service it.  I live in Florida, so hopefully I wont need to ship it to Canada or California.
