I just can't wait myself! My son and I do lots of mountain sledding hence the two Yamaha Nytro turbo sleds - 270 HP is a LOT of fun!

Cool machines but I will take a seadoo over that anytime !!
 If I never see snow again it will be too soon

I drove in this for a 110 kilometers this morning out to an oil battery east of Drumheller Alberta!

Turbo sleds are more for powder snow in the mountains not for high speed trail riding. Track speed in 5 feet of powder keeps you on top of the snow. These are relatively low power sleds. I have built Yamaha Apex's (998 CC) with the 4 cylinder (these Nytro have a three cylinder 1050 cc) engine at over 400 hp. Change the pistons to a low compression 8.5 to 1 forged and run at 18 psi of boost all day on 93 octane. Add C112 and pump up the boost to 30 PSI and HANG ON!!!! I owned a Yamaha/Kawasaki dealership for a long time and have built over 100 turbo sleds over the years. They are the fastest accelerating machine on the planet and I have ridden and owned lots of crotch rockets, even turbo ones.

So effectively you are running that sucker over 13:1 compression! Wow that must be one hell of a ride and I guess since you ride in the winter its a bit easier to cool and you don't have as many detonation problems?

For once I get to report we have great weather In Fargo!!!! No snow yet and it's way overdo. We will usually have it in mid Oct but it's in the 50's again today. It can stay this way till March and then worm up.

We were spared here in Denver.  A little chilly last night walking around with my trick-n-treaters but nothing that "daddy's little helper" beverage couldn't overcome.

although the first snowflake has appeared on the weather report for this friday.
you won't see me complain though! Snowmobiles, ice fishing, skiing, hockey, burning season at the farm.

It got down to 70 degrees with rain all day today. That's the coldest I've been since we went north to Florida last year. I spent the day in a long sleeve shirt under a blanket watching tv and hardly even thought about the half finished engine swap in the garage.
