If your interested in some more pics.  I have a few more in our Duster resto thread over on the A-body site.....

Checked out the thread.  The car is better than I imagined from the one picture you posted here.
Oh yeah, wish I had a few that nice to work on. :ylsuper:

Interestingly the very early 1970 valances are different on the bottom. They are actually wider from top to bottom below the exhaust holes. The problem was that area interfered  with the rear spring hangers and got bent up from the stock shackles. That's why the later ones look like they are cut short and straight on the bottom. They were much rounder looking originally.
I have two of these and both are dated late '69 (all dinked up and cracked in that area)

I really want to add the AAR look (hood, stripes and spoilers).  But I know some local "Mopar guys" would harass me forever for that.

Do these "local Mopar guys" plan to help pay for your project? If not forget what they would want & build it your way....  Honestly I've had more fun driving clones then looking at "correct" cars... Mostly just do what makes you happy...

I agree with the previous posters. I feel that if you want to make  your car look the way you want it why should you give a rats behind what the local elitists think.
I happen to be fortunate enough to have bought a  #'s matching AAR (driver quality) many years ago and have gradually done things to it to make it more enjoyable to drive.
Just wait until the Mopar purists find out I am planning on welding in sub frame connectors so it drives better, and changing the original color. (FE5 to FM3).
Oh the horror!
Good luck and as the Chairman of the Board said "Do it your way"
Greg
"There's no such thing as putting a '70 AAR 'Cuda exactly where you want it. The 'Cuda isn't interested in such things, for they require finesse. Finesse asked the 'Cuda out to dinner once, but the 'Cuda stood it up to go drink beer under an overpass with her hot little sister. As far as this car is concerned, finesse can go stuff itself."
