Searching for my lost love - 1968 "S" Cuda fastback 383 stick
« on: October 21, 2014 - 04:55:13 PM »
Greetings all:
I am on the hunt for my old 1968 Cuda that I, like an idiot, sold in the mid 1970s. Any help in my quest would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, I do not have the VIN, but it has some small welding scars that I will recognize.

When last seen in Cobb County, Georgia, this Blue, 1968, fastback, Barracuda "S" 383, 4-speed had chrome reverse wheels, bullet-style side view mirrors and after-market running lights in the grill.

If you think you know the whereabouts of this car, or one similar. please PM me.

Thanks.

I live in West Cobb, so I will help you keep an eye out for it. I am at most of the local cruises and so far, I haven't seen it. I have seen several small block cars, but not many 383 "S" cars. Good luck...   :2thumbs:

I haven't seen it in a while, but on the seattle craigslist, there is a dude with what I believe is a 383 4 S 68..... Check there often, it may be yours!

Yep. I was parked kinda near the band. I left before dark and didn't participate in the burnouts. I plan on making it out to the Acworth deal tomorrow.  :2thumbs:

My wife is with the Hot Rod Madness crew, so I show up at a lot of the shows. I was really hoping you were going to do a burnout...

Maybe next time. I couldn't wait around long enough for the burnouts. :burnout: I had to watch the grandkids that evening/night. There is always next year!!  I might go to the Summit Toys For Tots Cruise on December 6th - still undecided on that one.
