Hello to u all . I would like to re place my large Tryed old factory starter motor . Would some one know the best after market mini starter , I could. Bolt  up to my. 70 cuda 340 and 727  ? ?  One more question  do  I need to count. The teeth  on the ring gear convter or starter like a 904 trans ?  Or does the mini starter bolt. Right up .thanxs. 4 taking the time to read this cheers . :aussie:

Welcome to the site and good luck with the starter. I believe the starters off a later Dakota are one of the ones the lads here use, but I haven't gotten to that part of my restoration yet.  :wave:

yup, thats what I have, bolts right up, good to go, probably cheapest is going through Rockauto, cant beat their spead and freight rates to  :aussie:

I use the V8 starter from any Dodge truck , got them in the wrecking yards for $25 or so , replace the contacts for $5 & good to go , no need to count teeth .
