hurst 5 speed convertion
« on: November 25, 2014 - 06:52:44 PM »
Hello All

I just bought Hursts ELITE KIT 5 speed kit and had a few questions. I am converting from an auto to stick. I do know i need a 4 speed hump and pedel assembly. what is confusing me is the mechanical linkage. are there kits out there that are every thing i would need. I tryed buying this stuff individually but i know im gunna leave stuff out. Is there a kit out there? Does anyone have a full parts list of what i would need for the linkage? Other than the hump, pedels, and linkage am i missing any thing else? The car is a 1973 auto with 440. any advice would be greatly appereated.

Regards,
Rob

Are you dead set on mech. linkage? Might want to think about hydraulic. Can do it for about half the cost if you don't mind a little fabricating.
