Sounds like your seats are proper SE. Pics would really help out. If you are talking about the outside stainless trim that goes around the rear window it attaches with the same clips used on non SE cars. On the inside there is a 3 or 4 inch wide plastic molding that is covered with the same material as the headliner that goes around the back window to give it a finished look.
