« on: November 30, 2014 - 06:56:01 PM »
Where did you guys get your decal(s) for your 70 non rallye wood grain dash ?

Mine is faded, dirty,,,and i would like to replace it

I see that performance car graphics sells just the decals ( 45 $ )

also,,,has anyone "plastic soldered" in the small "gas, brake " plastic lens ( circular, small, plastic lense that goes in the dash ) ,,,, ? mine fell out,,,and need to be replaced....

thanks,

I ordered a standard dash switch plate decal from PCG and it was top notch!  That is who I would go to again.  I also superglued in my highbeam, brake and oil lenses and it seemed to work fine.

dfrazz,,,,
I spoke with Dave @ PCG, he was great.
I ordered the woodgrain decal...
I am going to superglue my oil and and brake lens back on,,,,i think it will work fine....
I also ordered the small decal ( plate ? ) for the headlamps, dimmer and wiper,,,,, I am not sure how that will work out....mine looks like a metal plate that is affixed to the dash,,,Looks like I will tear it up trying to remove it. I will see what he sends me as a replacement,,,not sure if he uses a decal to cover it ? we will see,,,thanks, Doug

The headlamp, dimmer, wiper decal actually comes on a thin plate with a 3M glue.  You simply clean off your original, peel off the back cover of the new one and stick it on top of the original.  Just be absolutely sure you are lined up correctly before you press it on because it does not come off without ruining it.
