It does not look at all familiar too me. I searched back through all my pictures as i tore down and rebuilt my 73. What ever it is, my 73 did not have it.

It kinda looks like a throttle return spring bracket of some sort...

Something bolted to it thru the bolt hole. That something had a tab on it that fit in the rectangular opening to keep it straight(aligned) when bolt tightened. Possibly to hold(secure) a wiring harness

Nope...I think I'm stumped which leads me to believe it's not an E Body part.....but I'm no expert in the odd parts of 73-74 Challengers

Don't remember a bracket like that on my '73. My guess is it is from another car....... or lawnmower.

How about a profile shot? Kinda looks like a glove box door stop.... But from the current angle the bends look soft....
