Need Aussie Cuda owner's help
« on: December 09, 2014 - 06:02:50 AM »
Hi Guys,
Anyone from Victoria in Oz with Historic plates on a Cuda. :aussie:

I finally picked up my rego plates today from Vicroads,  :woo: very excited ! Unfortunately, when I got home & went straight out to fit them, struck a little problem. Front will be ok, will fab a temp bracket until repo ones arrives from US.
Rear plate though is nearly 2" wider than the fuel filler flap opening. (Historic plates down here are only available in one size).
Anyone have pictures of solutions/workarounds for this dilemma. Was going to just screw a piece of timber in as a spacer, but don't want it to look half-arsed, looking for a more elegant solution.
Any Suggestions ?
cheers...
