318 to 360 ramcharger swap
« on: December 14, 2014 - 09:37:59 PM »
Ok i bought a 360 but it was a manual transmission truck so its got a flywheel. I have a 318 neutral converter and flexplate. Am I right in thinking that I can use the b&m 360 flexplate with the neutral torque converter  or do I need to get a 360 weighted torque converter?  Also in question is the driver side motor mount bracket,  some are saying it's different some say it's not. The 360 came without brackets.  Please help me clear this up!

I think the B&M flexplate will be correct for your motor and transmission. The mount on the drivers side has one ear that you will need to use some washers to fill the gap.
