What is the best way or product to clean the plastic interior panels. These panels have been stored for many years and I would like to get them clean with damaging them. They need to be cleaned before I can decide whether they need to be dyed/painted.

I assume you mean you want to clean them WITH-OUT damaging them.� (at least I hope thats what you mean)� If it's just dirt and grime, I use Castrol Super Clean (purple bottle)� Works great!!� �:thumbs:

also dawn or Ivory dish soap and a soft bristle brush does wonders too

I was recenly at a car show and a guy who works for mopaints (they destribute dyes to yearone) told me to clean them with simply green and a nylon brush not to rough of a brush cause like our good friend 4 cruzin pointed out you dont want to damage them :tongue: ! so I bought 4 cans off of him done what he said and they turned out great!!! I used some dawn and a rag first to get all the dirt off then used simply green and a course scrub brush!! good luck!! :beer:

castrol susper clean works great but not for door panels unless your going to re dye them. Castol is so strong it will fade the color. Simple green is not as stong and works good and will not change the color.
