that's b.s., why would you even post a vin for sale and then tell us you aren't endorsing a rebody? put is on ebag and itll get flagged there as well

pretty sure I sold them on ebay.  I think that you saw them on there.  hard to keep track of everyone and everything sometimes.   especially the last couple of years.  very difficult for me and my family.

you can get them all over new.

well, for $3...I would pop rivet it to my tool box.  but, crap...my tool box has wheels on it...and that would be a rebody right?

I guess if you guys don't want it...move on and let someone else get it.  If someone doesn't feel comfortable buying it...trade me out.

this is not an endorsement for a rebody.

do you have a use for the full number?  I have no use for your social security, phone or underwear size numbers, so I am not demanding that you post them...even if they were for sale.

Hey, you asked for an offer and I posted one.  Don't get so mad.  Im not selling your SS#, your house, or your underwear.  You can always say, offer not accepted just like they do on Ebay or anywhere else.  I think others here are merely informing you that selling an original VIN plate could be bad and I don't think anyone here is saying that you are endorsing a rebody.  Think of it this way, you sell to whomever.  Then that whomever sells it for more.  Then that whomever wants to rebody a car with it.  Then some poor buyer gets that fraud car.  That buyer finds out and loses lots of $$$.  That is the tragedy of the thing.  You innocently made a person lose money.  So if you posted the whole vin so it can be documented that it was sold as vin plate only, that would help the unknowing buyer.  I think that is all people are concerned with.  You say "I really don't care what the guy does with it" means you don't care if someone rebodies a car with it either.

I have dash vin tag although mine is from a 71 383 Cuda BS23N1B and the funny thing is, is that it was on my recently sold 73 340 4 speed cuda.......lol

Rave, PM Me the rest of the vin so I can run it against my former cuda numbers

If anyone wants the rest of the vin for the 71, PM me..... I would love to reunite it with the car

shoot me the last sequence of the vin and I can check for match.

I am pretty sure that I will just make a Christmas ornament out of it for next year...or have it strategically placed in the epitath of my tombstone.

the options are endless really.

rivet it to my kid's lunch box...or make a sweet belt buckle.
