What Spark Plug to Run?
« on: September 04, 2015 - 02:13:14 AM »
So I just got news that my motor is done today. It is a 416 with 11.6:1 compression with a little cam. Cam specs are in the pic. The heads casting numbers are in a pic to. The heads are ported and so is my eddy jr intake. 2.02" intake and 1.60" on exhaust. Going to be running E-85 in it on the street. I also have a rev-n-nator box on it with a msd coil and billet distributor. The carb is a 750 that flows over 800 cfm. Also has hooker full length headers with 2-1/2" coming out the side.
So the question is what spark brand and size should I run with this set up. I know things have changed and would like to know.
Thank you
Its just a little 340 with a miss

what kinda heads are they?
72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

The above picture is the only casting number. I think they are mopar performance. But truth be told I am not sure.

notice this has a .375 reach, whereas plugs for aluminum
heads have a 3/4 reach, as far as I know. I use NGKs.

The heads are cast iron and uses all stock hardware. I am still new to the mopar game and still have lots to learn.
