under hood and underneath pictures
« on: January 04, 2015 - 01:59:51 PM »
I'm in the process of assembling my '70 challenger vert and I need some picture of  the engine compartment showing routing of brake lines and wiring harness, components  mounting, horns,  and such.  Also in need of under side(bottom) pictures of brake line, fuel lines routing.

You have good taste in cars.

Manual or power brakes?  maybe someone has pictures with the engine out I don't.   I could take some with the engine in but  it wouldn't be as  good.   I look at nice cars on Ebay there are some good pictures there.

If your lines aren't in good shape you might want to get a set from Fine Lines, not a lot of money and they look and fit great.

AMXguy , Thanks,  power brakes, all new lines.  Besides the 70 Challenger convert I'm putting together I have a 1973 AMX 401 4 spd with a custom pistol grip shifter I made, 37k original miles, 1974 Javelin 6 cyl auto 70k  almost road ready .

Topcat, thanks for the pictures. I'm slowly getting there. I more or less got the fuel, e brake and brake lines figured out. the previous "owner" put in new floors etc. no hole in the trunk for the fuel filler neck, right inner fender must be from a later year because the  holes for the '70 washer bottle are not there. I'm sure I'll find more surprises.
