Cylinder head clean up

On my stealth heads you can easily see casting marks/ridges. Will cleaning these up with a dremel make a difference to air flow?

I'd say cleaning it up/blending  under the valve seats will be your biggest area of improvement. :2cents:

that kinda cleanup, barely noticeable, maybe 1 or 2 cfm
72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

But, be very careful with ANY grinding device as it'll only take a touch on a valve seat to require re-grinding it. AND, buy carbide cutters designed for aluminum. They're different than ones for steel/iron.  :cheers:

I agree maybe use the sandpaper roll type ones (smoother and easier to control ) and watch the die grinder chuck doesn't damage the seats.
