Author's Inquire...help needed for E-Body book
« on: January 20, 2015 - 11:37:00 AM »
Hello!

CarTech Books has asked me to write The Definitive Guide To The 1970-1974 Dodge Challenger and Plymouth Barracuda, and I'm trying to contact those who turned the design concepts that Styling created into the production '70-'74 Barracuda (and Challenger).

Do you have any contact information for anyone who worked in Chrysler Engineering (especially Plant Engineering at Hamtramck Assembly, plus Body/Powertrain/Chassis Engineering) who were involved with the E-Body cars during 1967-69?

Time is of the essence--I have an end-of-this-month (January, 2015) deadline to get this chapter on the E-Body's development completed. Any contact information that you, or your E-Body owners may have, will be greatly appreciated. (I'll include a thanks to you in the book's Acknowledgements section, and send along an autographed copy once it rolls off the presses if you do.)

BTW--I was Mopar Muscle Magazine's Associate Editor from July of 2007 until last February, and I wrote nearly 200 car feature--including lots of E-Body features (including cover stories), as well as historical features and the monthly new-products and readers' rides sections.

Sincerely,

Scott Ross

Time is of the essence because they're probably mostly dead or senile by now...  You're talking 47 years ago and I'm guessing most people working within Chrysler's design team were most likely in their 30's or 40's at the time.... :2cents:
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !

I knew two of them but they have been dead for around 10 years now. It will be tough to find any of them alive.
