Im using the MSG distro and blaster coil.   Can the resistor   You dont need it (At least if you are running a msd box, check your instructions)

I mounted my coil on the inner fender well, near the horn.   I wouldnt put it laying on its side on top of the intake manifold.  Just too much heat

I don't have an MSD box. I have distro, thing called ignition modul, wires.

I thought that I need only coil ?
Or I need MSD box?

Doc just meant you don't need a ballast resistor if you are using an MSD.
You don't HAVE to use an MSD box. What kind of ignition module do you have?

With that ECU you need the ballast resistor.

Your ECU module is 4 pin and your wiring is 5 pin. I hope somebody more knowledgeable than me will comment on this. I think it's OK but I'm not sure.

It's OK. The fifth wire is for a dual ballast resistor. It's fine to be left not connected to anything.

I knew there was an easy explaination for it but it wouldn't come to mind. Thanks Scott.

Got everything you need but a coil. Do you have a coil bracket?
I chose a stock style Accel coil for electronic ignition

when I go to the msd website - it offers only blaster 2 p/n.8202, but meny year ago I replace a broken msd with Mallory coil on my old car and it work, no problem!

will MSD blaster 3 work as Bullitt say - take Accel???

If it is being mounted horizontally you need the MSD Vibration coil or it will leak
