Restore Wiper Arms

Has anyone painted wiper arms?  If so, what color paint did you use and how did it turn out?

Thanks.

The arms are stainless.  There is no reason to paint them.  I've read where some people very lightly bead blast them.  The key is very low PSI so you don't pit the metal.  Personally, I just rubbed mine down with 0000 steel wool.  It took the years of dirt off of them and shined them up.

Thanks.  Yeah that steel wool 0000 works wonders.  I did that last night and they look much better but there are a couple areas where the stainless looks to have worn off.  I'll just leave them alone.  Gives the car character.....if you can see it.

Stainless does not wear off. That's what they are made of. It would be like saying the steel wore off your wheels.
