There were problems with the first batch.  The bolt holes didn't line up very well.  I think there were also problems with wire loom bracket locations.  The baffles on the inside were also welded on too high up.  I think they have the problems corrected now, however be careful of people selling them on ebay.  They may be the first batch that has issues.  It's better to buy them from a reputable company so you know what you are getting.

Try ebay and get the real thing.  I got a proper set for my 71 440 for $30.  Sandblasted them, washed them and repainted:  Like new

I've got original valve covers. Always fighting a leak and thought new might be straighter than mine

Are you running headers or factory manifolds?  What gaskets are you running?  Try these guys for really nice, reusable gaskets that don't burn from exhaust heat.

Factory exhaust and I'm  using those gaskets now. I've  tried high temp silo cone with steel cores and the pass side burned through in two years.
