Not sure if you're being sarcastic suggesting that's a fair price ?
Is it ?
I have an exact same set here I thought I would be happy to get half what this guy is asking?
Are 1972-74 gauges really worth that much ?

If those were 70 gauges, I'd be all over it.

My issue is that I have a set for my 73 cuda but they need to be restored - pricing the restoration of them I find I'm going to be in to 1000 to 2000 depending on the company.  Which I think is nuts...

So thinking to buy these and sell what I have to come out "ahead"

Oh sorry...I didn't realize they were restored...I didn't read the ad, only looked at the pictures :banghead:
$1000 is probably fair considering what companies charge to restore them and you're right you could probably get $500-$600 for yours.
If they were 70-71's I'd be all over them too.....

Keep in mind you are paying US$ but perhaps your restoration price was also. They do look good and the work is done.

I think those ebay gauges were only "restored" costmetically.  No word on whether anything was tested and calibrated on the internals.
