73 T/A rear spoiler
« on: February 14, 2015 - 10:20:06 AM »
Does anybody have some good photos of how a T/A rear spoiler fits? I a working on a friends car and what is on this thing looks like a T/A spoiler but man does it fit crappy, I think it's just a cheap knock off. Anything will be great.

I believe the spoilers for a Challenger had a recess to conform to the trunk's raised body line. I'm not sure but I think the originals were ABS plastic not fiberglass too. I got mine from Classic Industries and it came with the recess to match the trunk.

Yes, there is a slight recess in it that helps to properly position it on the car. Definitely ABS.

Is there a difference between the cuda and the challenger?
As the cuda has no raised center on the trunk lid.

Yup. The whole spoiler is different really. Easy to see if you have them side by side.

the one I bought from dales cuda shop fits the same as the one posted by bc3j, the one in the original pic looks like it has no recess at all to allow for the body line.
