Anybody ever heard of them or using one??? I called them and ordered up their Street Edge (top one) with a 2600 stall custom built for my setup...

I'd like to hear others opinions about them...

Mike, out of curiousity, why did you choose to go with a 2,600 stall speed?  (I hope you consulted plenty of people with your engine specs.)  Just looking out for ya man.

Not just the engine specs, but the gears you have in the rear, and the type of driving you plan to do have to factor into this too.

Don't worry... I spent about 20 mins on the phone with the Tech guy at EDGE... we reviewed every angle on the car... he's building it for a rear gear ratio of 3.50's-3.70's and a redline of about 5600-5700.... right now, with the 2.94's out back, it's not going to feel like much, but once the new gears go it, it's going to WAKE up!! :eekbig: :eekbig: I can't wait to get this!! :burnout: :burnout:

Just thought I would  thro in my 2 cents- Once upon a time, I bought a GER Thunderbolt converter because I saw it in a mopar magazine and it was cheap. Thought, hey if its in a mopar mag, it must be good.  it was a 3400 rpm stall and I put it in my challenger behind the 360. Well it went down the track @ 13.0 sec and 106 mph.

Later i talked to a guy that said I could get alot more out of my car if I went to TCi . took his advice- he always seemed to be right. Well , he was. I bought a TCI 3800 stall and went down the track @ 12.7 @ 108 mph. All I did was swap the stall and got 3 tenths of a sec.  No more cheapo off brand converters for me. I can't stand to waste Horsepower- it costs too much 4 to bolt on and not use.
