HEATER
« on: February 20, 2015 - 01:01:42 PM »
I am reinstalling my heater and noticed that there is a gap between the window defroster vent and heater box ( see picture ), is there a piece missing or is this how the factory did it? Is there a after market piece for this? Thanks all.

I do not think there was anything there from the factory.  I've seen some pics where a piece of sheet metal was added to help keep the airflow to the vent.

That gap is supposed to be there.  It helps draw in some air from the passenger compartment.
