Auto Transmission 46RH / A518 - 4x4 to 4x2 conversion

In regards to the 46RH / A518 Auto Tranmissions.

What is involved in changing the trans from a 4x4 model to a 4x2 ??
Is it simply a case of switching the outer case and the internals simply swap over between them  ??

Apart from the outer case housing what else is required, if anything ??

Just swap out the tailshaft housing from a 4x2. Not like the old 727 where you had to pull the whole trans apart.
