There should be small holes there...The piece really needs to be "pushed" up in place with some pretty good effort  :2cents:

Thanks Alan! That's the right spot for it eh?

No holes other than one large one...maybe the repro fenders don't have them :dunno:

So currently there is no clutch fan installed on the front of this engine. There's a slim fit electric fan piggy backed on the rad. This is fine for highway cruising but on a hot summer day in stop and go traffic the temp gauge climbs up there and I have to pull over and pop the hood. So this is really why I rarely drive it.

Thinking about installing a proper clutch cooling fan this year.

The engine is a 400B (4006530)
Could anyone here recommend what I need to pick up from Roseville Moparts?

So far I've got on the list:
*Fan Clutch [446-BPE215049]
*70-73 B/RB/Hemi B/E Body 26" Fan shroud [P2998326]
*Clutch Rod retaining Spring Clip [2405085]
*Fan blade 6 fin [446-BPE220618]
