dash wiring harness?
« on: May 10, 2015 - 07:28:48 PM »
A few years ago I replaced my dash wiring harness. I put the new harness in with the dash in the car. I now have the whole dash assembly out of the car and while it's out I want to tidy up that tangle of wires. Does anyone have a picture of the back side of a restored dash with Rally gauges so I can see how it's suppose to look?

Add me to the list, any pictures would be great.  I just received an new dash harness from Year One and will work on the dash a bit in the next few weeks. The existing rats nest of wires is a sight to behold.

I have the wiring diagrams but I would like to  see how the main harness is routed.

Not exactly what your looking for, but this is what I'm looking at tonight, exactly as it came out of the car.

The pics are great thanks. The first one is what mine looks like now. When I put the harness in I ran wires all over the place. Behind the steering wheel bracket and around the heater box. That can't be the way the factory did it. It was a pain getting the dash out. After you disconnect everything and take the top 4 screws out and loosen the 2 screws on the ends the dash should just tilt away and pull out. I'm sure they didn't struggle with it in the assembly line.
