Body Cart/Dolly

Curious as to if anyone has built one? I am thinking about making one for my car. Easier to move around and I can probably make it high enough that it is easier to get under the car with a creeper.

Same stands on both vehicles. The rear fit both with no modifications. I had to redrill some holes in the front stands to mount them onto the Dart. These work great for a bare body. I don't trust the fronts with the engine/suspension in the Dart. It's holding it OK right now but I'm nervous while moving it. Some angled bracing back towards the frame would make it better.
Make sure to use large casters/wheels. It will move around much better.
This is the stand the bodyshop used while doing the bodywork on the Challenger. The body mounts to it using the leaf spring locations and K-member locations. This simulates the car sitting on its wheels. All the panel alignment, filler work and sanding can be done and not worry about things moving around once the body is actually on its suspension. It's fully adjustable so multiple body styles will fit.

I have about six of them. I just built one last week.
Mine bolt to the bottom of the car at the leaf spring hangers and transmission cross member. Mine can be lifted up with a long fork lift if need be.

Really appreciate the info guys!
Never would have thought of using the hangers/cross members locations to avoid trouble.
Also thanks a lot for the pictures.
