I believe the PC version is "ka-ka occurs". That doesn't mean it's not a PITA nonetheless!  :pullinghair:

I'm really surprised that Dave from Roseville hasn't responded to this thread yet.
I got my panels from him and as stated in another thread, the rears are perfect but I haven't tried the fronts yet. I may dink with them today when it warms up a bit....

CHL2T, did you get yours from Roseville? Let me know how they fit.

I put the driver's panel on this morning. It fit a bit better but still not flush.  :dunno:

Murray.

did you clip the bottom before screwing the sides. When you talked to Jon yesterday you did not have the lower clips in. We have sold 100's of the panels between cuda and challenger and have had ZERO issues. in the early run the upper rib reinforcement needed to be trimmed as that was hitting the shell creating a push out condition. Which maybe a rare case with this panel. The panel it self looks to be too high as it isn't seating well on the door frame.  maybe the door frame is bent or distorted some how.

So for those of you that haven't installed these yet don't panic.

Dave, I have not clipped the bottom. With all due respect, I do not see how clipping the bottom will cause the panel to spread so the sides slip over the shoulders of the door famework. As far a being to high, the screws lined up perfect horizontally. All eight screws on each panel are started but I have not tightened them completely because that will mess with the straightness of the outer flange of the panel. I am being very gentle here, I want it perfect when it's done. I have them both on and they look awesome!!  :bananasmi  I am working in a cool shop (50*). Some day when I have time I'll park the car out in the sun and let things warm up good inside. Maybe I'll gain a whisker of expansion and some flexability and get them to seat properly. Right now I don't want to force things. We'll get this right.

the holes are slotted on the door shell and you may not be able to use the original threaded hole, the bottom should be clipped in Before you screw in the sides. see picture for ONLY know fitment issue

also. if the upper clips where the arrows are, are NOT seated properly you will have this issue of the panel being too high.

I've got a set of the very first issue of Metro's Cuda door panels and have test fitted them to a couple spare doors in the basement. Those circled areas that Dave posted all had to be trimmed on mine to look like my original door panels. Still haven't put them on the car because they'd look out of place with the old convertible rears.
