1970 Challanger
« on: April 19, 2015 - 03:37:06 AM »
 :feedback:Hello Guys

I'm new to this forum & actually new to the whole dodge sector. I have always admired them just haven't ran across one that caught my attention to earlier this week. I'm looking for some help & advice on this 1970 challenger R/T I stumbled across. It is Hemi Orange with a 440 4bbl auto (Numbers Matching) 28500 ACTUAL miles on it. I did some research and found there was 2802 R/T's build that year, 1886 of them were 440 4bbl auto cars & out of the 2802 there is 984 of them Hemi orange.

My question is, does anyone know how many of the 984 painted orange......were the 440 4bbl auto?

Thanks in advance.

There are rarer models out there, but you are correct, the 70 Challenger R/T is certainly a rare beast when compared to many others such as Mustangs and Camaros  :2cents:

Numbers are approximate based on production and color choice.

What matters more then the number produced is the number surviving today which would be a lot lower then the number produced.

Mr. Katfish,

That is totally cool info.

Do you have that spreadsheet available for 1971 and 1972 Challengers too?  I have a 72 and my brother a 71.

Thanks.
