Does anyone know if there is a better way to insure multiple cars?  I'm paying a lot to insure cars I barely drive.  When I look at each car insurance cost by itself  it doesn't seem bad, but totaled up it's ridiculous.

Can I insure myself to drive my cars and not the cars individually?  Anyone work in the insurance industry that might be able to help?
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Try Phoenix Insurance. I haven't switched to them from Hagerty yet, but they gave me a very luring quote.

I have no idea how their rates compare but this one company offers one liability charge for multiple vehicles
Might be worth checking   http://www.heacockclassic.com/collector-cars/

I have both my Cuda and Charger with Grundy.  They gave me a little break when I added the Charger.

I think you need to find a local insurance company that will allow you to insure your cars at storage rates when not in use . . . . I had one here in Michigan that I would call when I decided to use one of my cars . . . it would go active for the weekend and then back into storage on Monday.  Saved me a ton of cash . . . sometimes in the summer . . . I would activate one car for 30 days and just drive it . . . then change to the next car for 30 days and so on . . .

Are your cars insured for an agreed value?

Yes supported by appraisal . . . 50K for one and 30K for the other.

I've done the Storage/on the road thing and it can save you money. If you're ex military I'd advise you to check out USAA insurance. Cheapest by far unless you live in Detroit.

I live in Wayne county which is the county Detroit is in. Even though I live 20 miles from Detroit I have to pay like I live there. AAA is the only local insurance that gives me credit for where I live. Everyplace else I've lived USAA is the cheapest by far.

Well when you are ready to move out of Wayne county and into Oakland, Livingston, Washtenaw or somewhere other than Wayne, let me know and I will find you nice new home!
